Centralising GCP Projects and Infrastructure

This strategic move consolidated their projects under one roof, enabling more efficient management and oversight. By migrating their projects to the newly created organisation and connecting them to the centralised billing account, Truworths transitioned to a more streamlined payment process, which eliminated the reliance on a credit card and provided better financial control.

Enhancing Security and Governance

Security and governance were also top priorities for Truworths. The scattered nature of their previous GCP setup posed significant risks, so CloudSmiths conducted a thorough review of their Identity and Access Management (IAM) policies. We standardised their naming conventions, ensuring consistency and clarity across the organisation, and implemented granular IAM policies to enhance security and governance. Optimising Data Processing with BigQuery Integration

In addition to centralising their GCP environment, Truworths sought to optimise their data processing capabilities.
