Migrating to a Scalable, Secure Cloud Infrastructure

To address these challenges, we migrated WaveMaker’s existing data from an Azure SQL server and on-premises analysis services to Google BigQuery. This move not only reduced the burden of infrastructure maintenance but also provided WaveMaker with easy access to data through cloud functionality. The migration process was carefully managed to prevent unauthorised access to data and ensure compliance with industry standards.

The integration of Google Cloud IAM provided robust user management, while all data was encrypted both at rest and during transit, leveraging Google Cloud Platform’s native security features. This ensured that WaveMaker’s data remained secure and compliant, addressing one of the company’s primary concerns.
